The Ruby Tuesday brand was slightly modified to suit this particular site and to meet the UK’s relevant retail guidelines. The design of the unit and its associated shopfront were developed through a series of detailed discussions with Ruby Tuesday, our client (the franchisee) and the landlord's retail advisors.
The shopfront has been designed to echo the fundamentals of the Ruby Tuesday brand and the threshold between the Mall and the Unit has been given a distinctive feel that respects the brand whilst complimenting the design of the Mall.
The area around the entrance doors is fully glazed providing height to the lobby and staircase area, emphasising the entrance. The remainder of the frontage contains black fabric awnings creating a more intimate seating area. Nevertheless, the shopfront behind the awnings is fully glazed maximising the views into the restaurant and adding to streetscape animation.
