The bar, previously embedded into a double-height curved wall was elongated and brought forward to form the focal point of the function space. Its repositioning creates a more animated environment, establishes better visual links from the public highway and provides a larger serving area for waiting patrons.

The orthogonal bar is angled at each end allowing approach from three directions. The timber panels that make up the façade of the bar are varied thicknesses topped with a grey, sleek Silestone worktop. An array of bulbs forms a canopy to the bar area, transforming the space from a daytime café to an evening bar and lounge at the flick of a switch.

Against a backdrop of grey walls, splashes of pink highlight the ticket office and reception whilst existing concrete columns are individually and playfully coloured.
