The scheme comprises two, three and four bedroom houses as well as two bedroom bungalows. Homes are fully compliant with the Welsh Government's Design Quality Requirements for social housing and significant consultation took place with the Welsh Government because of the site's location within a wider masterplan.
Critical to the success of the development was its integration within the local context. Located to the south of the town centre, the proposals had the potential to act as a catalyst for further regeneration within the area. In consideration of the site's context, the proposals at The Avenue reference the better aspects of the Llanelli vernacular which will enable The Avenue Development to act as a cohesive element between the respective character areas and provide a vehicle for further regeneration.
